Happy Friday, Beauties! I wanted to share a little beauty brush-up that I had last week at Walgreens in Union Square with Tim Gunn and Marsha Chilko, Procter & Gamble Beauty Ambassador, along with a few fellow bloggers. As you may know, P&G owns a bunch of beauty brands like COVERGIRL, Olay, Pantene, Crest, Secret Deodorant, Head&Shoulders and tons more! And, a fun little fact that Tim shared with us … “P&G is the largest fragrance house in the world and employs more PhD’s than all the Ivy league schools combined!” Now that’s some serious beauty buzz!

We made our way to the 2nd floor (the beauty floor at Walgreens) to test and learn more about some of their impressive new products. First up, Head&Shoulders, which I learned is geared towards having a healthy scalp, even if you don’t have dandruff. Who knew? We actually received some Full & Strong Shampoo & Conditioner to try at home, and so far it’s fab! (Giveaway Below!)

Then, a little hair repair from the Pantene wall. I mentioned that I usually wash my hair every day since I am always on the go with workouts and meetings, etc. So, Marsha suggested that I try the Ultimate 10 BB Creme to help liven up the ends of my over-washed locks!

Next, we discussed Olay and touched on one of the most important topics for women, ANTIAGING!! Marsha massaged the Olay Deep Wrinkle Treatment on the lines of our hands and we watched as they instantly became more plump and seemed to disappear! MAJOR! I’ll take ten of those, please!

COVERGIRL was next, a classic beauty staple in my makeup bag. I loved the TruMagic Skin Perfector, which eliminates shine for a matte finish and can be used under or over your makeup. (Great for TV segments)

These are just a few brands that we touched on, but you should def. stop by and see the impressive beauty floor for yourself! Every Saturday, Walgreens has it’s Saturdate, where they offer exclusive coupons that they give out that day
(and are valid throughout the month) so pop in!

We spent the morning with such a wonderful and knowledgeable team, and Tim Gunn is just as sweet and lovely in person as he is on TV! LOVE HIM!

“Everything that we do, everything that happens to us, makes us who we are.”
