Weekend Warrior

Getting a little sweaty for a good cause is always a good idea! I joined forces with Vimmia Activewear for the Warrior One Weekend in Cali last week to help raise money and awareness for 8 yr. old Jonah Pournazarian. Jonah was born with a rare condition called Glycogen Storage Disease 1b (GSD), which renders his liver unable to regulate blood sugar levels and if untreated can result in severe hypoglycemia, seizures and even death. It was so inspiring to meet Jonah and hear his story in person, and to see the incredible support he has from his family and friends. He’s a happy, strong, determined little boy who lives each day to the fullest with the hope that there will be a cure for this rare diesease one day soon. You can read more about Jonah’s story HERE, and if you feel compelled, you can donate to help find a cure to change his life, and all those affected by GSD.
