It’s fall, and that means it’s FOOTBALL SEASON! As you probably saw all over my Instagram last week, I was part of the first ever FASHION MEETS FOOTBALL NFL Women’s Style Showdown in New York City. I was super psyched to be one of the three bloggers (me, Heather Zeller from A Glam Slam & Liz Blackfrom P.S. It’s Fashion) chosen to face-off and style 4 different NFL pieces taking “game day” looks from the stadium to the streets, in a flash. We dressed our models in a different themed outfit for 4 quarters of competition—”Athleisure Wear”, “Girls Night Out”, “Casual Friday” and “Game Day”, finally ending the competition with a sneak peek of the Super Bowl 50 Women’s Apparel collection.
I kept it fashionable yet functional, pairing over-sized sweatshirts and bomber jackets with playful skirts, heels and lots of accessories to allow my looks to easily transition from work to play without missing a beat.

Our three celebrity judges, Philip Bloch, Jamie Chung and former NFL fullback, Tony Richardson, each weighed in, but the audience had the final say on the winner by electronically casting their votes right from their seats!
And the winner waaaas….. Liz Black! Congrats, Girl!
I had such a blast meeting and working with such a great group of girls (and boys) for this project. Thank you, “Team NFL” for including me in such a fun-fab football event!
