Painting Party!

Color inspiration is a big part of my world. From home decor, to fashion, to the food that I eat, I always feel energized when I infuse bold bright hues into everything I do. When I’m not working, I really make it a priority to relax and do the things I love – like getting crafty and composing tropical DIY decor for my beach house with my girlfriends. Not only is painting a way to let my mind escape, but getting creative with my girls is truly the best therapy! 

Whenever we get together to craft decorations for our homes, it’s always fun to see how we each put our own creative spin on our artwork. For me, creating playful paintings is one of my favorite ways to incorporate color into my home. I usually mix and match bright color combos with vibrant acrylic paints, layering textures and small objects onto a canvas that add personality and spunk. Beachy-chic sums up the vibe of my beach house, so I try to incorporate sun-kissed, surf inspired themes and oceanic color schemes to each room. This fun, floral creation brings a whimsical touch of red and turquoise together and plays perfectly with my collection of vintage and new dishes decorating my shelves.

And to get us into the summer spirit, I brought out Palm Breeze, refreshing tropical-inspired alcohol spritzes. They were an instant hit with the girls, with three tropical flavors – Ruby Red Citrus, Pineapple Mandarin Orange and Strawberry Pineapple— they take us to the tropics even when we’re right at home.
