Fashion Week is in full swing in NYC and to kick off the festivities, Disney Style invited me and a few fellow bloggers to see Aladdin on Broadway! It was a magical evening filled with inspiring visuals, exciting music, energetic dancing and lots of color. The beautiful costumes were designed by Tony award winning designer, Gregg Barnes! A perfect way to get psyched for a week of fashion and festivities. We sat up front by the orchestra allowing us to see the animated expressions on the actors faces, high energy, and beautiful detailed costumes all up close and personal! The special sparkle, beading, embroidery and vibrant hues of each and every outfit was a work of art and amazing to view at such a close distance. I so wanted to slip on one of the shimmering creations to take them for a spin—so pretty and playful.
After the show, there was a special VIP Q&A session with the cast members and crew to hear about some tricks and backstage secrets that keep the magic of the show alive. I also had a style chat with the Courtney Reed, actress who plays Princess Jasmine and heard all about her line of accessory chokers and love of fashion.
It was a whimsical night that sparkled bright and did not disappoint.
THANK YOU, Disney Style, for a wonderful NYC night.

Wow such a beautiful skirt!
Just lovely!!!✨✨✨
Did they happen to tell you the riddle of the magic carpet?
Saw the show last Saturday evening …..
Courtney Reed, Adam Jacobs, James Inglehart, Don Darryl Rivera and other cast members were incredibly hospitable to our family and young daughter after the show. In our world of “I’m in a hurry and don’t have time for you” (regular people), these amazing individuals took an extended period of time to sign autographs, take pictures and have discussion with us. So refreshing, appreciated and admired. YES, we will go again! They were magical!!!!
