Summer Skincare Beauty GIVEAWAY!

As most of you know, in the summer I spend my weekends at the beach as often as I can. I usually start my mornings off at my favorite yoga studio, followed up with a refreshing green smoothie and a breezy bike ride by the ocean. The rest of my day varies from catching up on emails on the front porch, to going for a run on the boardwalk or catching a few waves in the surf. As much as I cherish my time at the beach, it does come with a lot of extra sun exposure. So, I’ve tried to perfect my skincare routine, especially in the summer months, to make sure I’m extra protected, and keeping my face hydrated with the most effective products to help reverse sun damage. Soothing Moisture Cream

Before heading out to yoga I give my skin a quick rinse with cold water to wake me up and wash off any extra creams from the night before. I then apply a small amount of the Soothing Moisture Cream all over my face and neck.  I can use this product any time of day, so I even keep it in my beach bag for when I need to nourish my skin after being in the water all day. It’s oil free and feels light on my face while still having all the hydrating benefits so it’s great for warmer weather to avoid clogging my pores.

Solar Defense Sheer Sunscreen

Whether I’m headed for a day of full-on fun in the sun, or just an afternoon bike ride to the juice bar, I always make sure to apply SPF. The Solar Defense Sheer Sunscreen goes on super light but makes sure I’m totally covered and protected for any outdoor adventure that comes my way. I also love to use it as a base for my makeup because it acts as a great primer and keeps my skin extra hydrated.

Triple Vitamin C Serum

After a long day in the heat I always make sure to take time to wash my face at night thoroughly before I hit the pillow. Once I’ve cleansed my skin, I reach for my Triple Vitamin C Serum and apply a thin even layer all over my face. (A little goes a long way so be sure not to over do it. Just a small dollop does the trick). This little miracle worker helps to even out my skin tone and leaves my face feeling plump and radiant.

Ultra Hydrating Eye Repair Cream

At night I always like to give a little TLC to the area around my eyes. Even though I’m always rockin’ my shades and sunscreen during the day, those sun rays are super strong and I want to combat fine lines at all times. So after applying the Triple Vitamin C Serum, I dab the Ultra Hydrating Eye Repair cream all around my eye area. It helps to consistently brighten my eye area and decreases fine lines, without settling into my creases when it’s applied.
