This post is sponsored by The Quaker Oats Company but all opinions are my own.
As you know, I am ALWAYS on the go! So, I’ve recently partnered with The Quaker Oats Company to share with you Overnight Oats: a convenient, hassle-free way to get a hearty and nutritious breakfast option every morning, no matter what my day entails. Whether I’m heading out for an active day at the beach (surfing, biking, running) on weekends or a jam-packed day full of shoots and meetings in NYC, I want to know that I can get the energy and nutrition I want to keep me on the move.
I tend to always go, go go, and sometimes I leave little time to get a hearty meal prepared during the day, so packing in the nutritious options is essential for me. Each single-serve container features a yummy blend of 100% whole grain oats, and other grains, fruits, quinoa, flaxseed and nuts with NO artificial flavors or added colors. Amaze, right? I’ve been loving the Raisin Walnut flavor for a nutty sweet taste but they are all really great! And it gives me an extra kick that I want to help take on my action-packed days.
As for the prep work, no sweat, it’s super simple to prepare with almost no time at all. At night, just add milk or your non-dairy option of choice to the single-serve container (I like to use almond milk). Then, pop it in the fridge and let the mixture cold-steep overnight to create a cool and hearty breakfast option, perfect for summer mornings—totally hassle-free! It’s as easy as steep, sleep and eat! Then I can head out to take on the surf, sun and fun without wasting time in the kitchen! It’s also a super helpful option when we have a full house of guests at the beach. I can just prepare a few containers the night before and as people wake in the morning they can help themselves to an easy and nutritious breakfast to help kick-start their beach day. Easy Breezy!
Speaking of the beach house, I’m off to catch a train to start my weekend at the shore! Hope everyone has a great one! What’s on your weekend agenda?
Great look and pics 😉
