Taste of the Tropics

Back to the hustle and bustle of NYC, but keeping my mind on the surf-filled days in Costa Rica. My week-long getaway to the tropics with Fit & Fly Girl was just what I needed to kick off 2018 with a splash! A little sun time, fitness-filled days, and salty air has me feeling refreshed, recharged and ready for a new year!

And of course, I packed up my fave beachy bikinis and coverups from Tommy Bahama for the perfect island style vibe. I love how all of their prints mix and match seamlessly so I can extend the life of my travel wardrobe and get the most of my outfits from beach to BBQ. And, most of their suits are reversible so that’s a two-for-one bonus! More room in my suitcase!

And, how fun are these floral wide-leg pants? They are super light-weight, perfect for the tropical heat to keep me cool and protected from the burning mid-day sun. Especially on this particular day where we spent all afternoon bopping around town seeing the sights and sampling snacks along the way. When the heat turned up, I was able to slip off my coverup and jump in the ocean to cool off quick. Then, after a little soaking in the sun to dry off, my flowy pants were easy-breezy to slip back on and keep moving.
